I enjoyed staying at this hostel and I definately would go back again! The staff was very nice and had lots of idea what to do and where to go in Krakow! The location is amazing, since you´re in walking distance to Old Town Krakow. The tram station is right in front and there are lots of places for food. It´´´s just a pitty that the hostel doesn´t have a bigger room to sit down and relax with the other room mates but they do have tables and chairs in each room which I liked a lot.
Only spent one night at the Submarine before it was off to the next stop, but I had a wonderful time there. Staff was incredibly helpful with planning day trip to Auschwitz and salt mines, location is SPECTACULAR (literally right outside Old Town), and amenities were clean. Just ensure that if you are arriving between midnight and 7 AM to notify them beforehand so someone can let you in.

Clean rooms and bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, even better location. Daria is the best receptionist ever! She made me feel like at home and gave me helpful trips for Kraków and even for my next destination, she is awesome.
Contrary to overated lazy hostels, Submarine is a very good bottom-tier price due to its experienced and wise staff to target a nice unsought segment of clientelle, and does it well. It's rare in the slavic catering sector: humble, unpretentious, yet definitely not slow but helpful enough staff. Thanks to its more experienced female trainer. Enough wifi, bathroom and kitchen for a not too big place, clean, enough people to meet in the big dorms. They even can charge in ur own currency if needed.
The hostel itself is an apartment on the second floor of an old building. The location is perfect being 10 mins on foot by the station and just 3 mins to the main central area. The one-man-band receptionist does simply everything and she's the coolest receptionist on earth. There is always coffee and tea for everyone and the rooms are fine, I slept pretty good and for that price everything was good. If you need a cheap hostel and a good experience go for it...
The most amazing hostel for the price. I stayed for 6 nights and the service was 5 star. Cozy, warm, great hot showers and super clean. Minutes walk from bus and train station and I could see Florians Gate from my window. The staff are very helpful from constant cleaning to booking all my tours. The kitchen allows you to cook at home and a big supermarket minutes away. I highly recommend
I booked this hostel because of the price and after I stayed for some days here, I found that the atmosphere in this hostel is such lovely and peaceful. Submarine hostel has the best staff I've ever met during my stay in some hostels. Daria and Ewelina you guys are amazing. Daria, I have to say a bunch of thanks. You saved my ass. You guys let me extended night after night. To be honest, I barely write a review for such things, but this is an exception.Submarine hostel is not the best hostel in Krakow, it doesn't have the best facilities. But they have Daria and Ewelina as receptions so I would recommend you when you visit Krakow to stay in Submarine Hostel. 5 stars for you guys, even more, if I can give you 10 stars.
First, the location was great, just near the Old Town-City Center. People was very friendly. They also have free city maps which is really helpful and you don't know the city. Only problem was, there wasn't enough toilettes, i waited 30 minutes for it and missed the city tour.
Completely meets the customer needs. I am satisfid in everything I needed and expected. Very nice and kind staff. Clean rooms and services. Nice guests. Good value for money. Good position. I would choose this hostel again, no doubts!
